Begin Appeal Process
Step 1

Please Note:
You may submit up to three property assessment appeals online. Upon submission of your online property assessment appeal, by clicking the Submit Appeal button in the last step, the BOE's office will immediately send you a confirmation email indicating that your appeal has successfully been submitted. If you do not receive a confirmation email please contact the BOE's office at (314) 615-7195 or email at Another way to verify that your appeal has been submitted to the BOE is to view your appeal via the View Your Appeals Filed Online page. If you see your online appeal listed then it was successfully submitted to the BOE's office.

If you indicate in your online appeal that you will not be attending the appeal hearing, which is your option, then you may upload any supporting documents after you have submitted your appeal. In addition you may upload documents up to the last day for filing appeals, which is the second Tuesday in July. If you are attending your appeal hearing then you will not be able to upload documents as we request that you bring any supporting documents with you to the hearing.

The online property assessment appeal page depends on the successful operation of many electronic systems and devices, many of which are beyond the control of The Saint Louis Board of Equalization (BOE). We cannot guarantee the availability of the online property assessment appeal web page at all times. We highly recommend that you do not wait until the last minute in order to submit your appeal online. The BOE will not be responsible for any missed online appeal submissions due to the unavailability of its online property assessment appeal web page.

Important Note Concerning Scheduling of Appeal Hearings:
If you will be submitting more than one online appeal and will be attending the appeal hearings then it would be best to submit all your online appeals on the same day in order to help ensure that your appeal hearings will be scheduled on the same date. We strive to schedule appeal hearings filed by the same owner or agent on the same date, however if all your online appeals are not filed on the same day, we cannot ensure that they will be scheduled on the same date. The online property assessment appeal web page allows for up to three appeals to be submitted per Revenue online account.

The Board of Equalization (BOE) is not accepting property assessment appeals until May 1, 2015. Consequently this online appeal page is disabled for submitting appeals until that time. By state statute the BOE can only accept real estate and personal property assessment appeals between May 1 and the second Monday in July of each year.

If you have previously submitted a BOE appeal online you may view and print your appeal information by signing into your Revenue online account and clicking the View Your Appeals Filed Online link below.

If you have any questions or comments you may contact the BOE's Office at (314) 615-7195 or email at
