The online property assessment appeal page depends on the successful operation of many
electronic systems and devices, many of which are beyond the control of The
Board of Equalization (BOE). We cannot guarantee the availability of the online property
assessment appeal web page at all times. We highly recommend that you do not wait until the
last minute in order to submit your appeal online. The BOE will not
be responsible for any missed online appeal submissions due to the
unavailability of its online property assessment appeal web page.
In order to file your BOE property assessment appeal online you must sign into your Revenue online account. For more information go to the Revenue Sign In page.
To begin the online property assessment appeal select the type of property you would like to appeal, enter your locator or account number and then click the Next button.

Property Type: *
Select the type of property in which you want to appeal it's assessemt value: Real Estate or Personal Property
Locator Number: *
Enter a locator number of the real estate parcel you are filing the appeal for. Only shown when the real estate property type is selected.
Account Number: *
Enter an account number of the personal property you are filing the appeal for. Only shown when the personal property type is selected.

Notice:
The Board of Equalization (BOE) is not accepting property assessment appeals until May 1, 2012.
Consequently this online appeal page is disabled for submitting appeals until that time.
By state statute the BOE can only accept real estate and personal property assessment appeals between May 1 and the second Monday in July of each year.
If you have previously submitted a BOE appeal online you may view and print your appeal information by signing into
your Revenue online account and clicking the View Your Appeals Filed Online link below.
